Why Choose a Member

Our membership includes some of the best builders in Maine

Choosing the builder for your new home is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. There are many compelling reasons to select a builder who belongs to the Modular Home Builders Association. The practices of our dedicated members serve their customers and the entire modular industry as a whole. Individually and collectively, our members are recognized for their professionalism and integrity. Their commitment to high standards is the foundation of our association and is demonstrated daily through their adherence to established building standards, employment of sound business practices, and on-going pursuit of specialized education.

Our members promise to subscribe to and abide by a strict Code of Ethics. This code reinforces our pledge to the homebuying public that members will conduct themselves in a fair and principled manner.

Membership is based on a builder’s ability to adhere to our Builder Member Benchmarks. These criteria were established to ensure professional excellence and protect the integrity of our industry. Our members strive to maintain their membership in good standing. You’ll know you’ve found a member when you see the MHBA logo proudly displayed.
