MHBA 2011/2012 Goals:

• Manufactured Housing Board Code Update:
  
  
  • MHBA Representation from Andy Grant, Todd Truman, & David Cuttler
  • Opportunity to help craft a code that is modern, balanced and takes in to consideration the realities of modular construction by manufacturers and builders.  
    
    
  • Appraisal Database to address challenges in the Appraisal Process:
    
    
    • Developing data template with the Appraisal Institute of Maine; allow builder input of data to be forwarded to and distributed by AIM
    • Partner with parent group, HBRA, to gather new home sales data
    • More details to come
      
      
    • Continuing Education:
      
      
      • Partner with parent group, HBRA, to offer a variety of classes that will allow members to further develop their skill sets and knowledge base.
      • Ultimate goal being that MHBA classes will be required for Manufactured Housing Board licensing
        
        
      • Promote Professionalism within our Industry:
        
        
        • Continuing Education
        • Home Inspections
        • MHBA Membership:  showing up to meetings, Board or committee participation = informed and responsible members in our industry.
