An association is only as strong as its volunteers. Thank you to everyone who volunteers their time on behalf of the MHBA, including...
MHBA Board: the Board voted to accept the nomination of Richard Hott of Keeley Crane to fill a recently vacated Board seat. Richard has over twenty years experience in the construction field and has worked with several companies in the modular industry including KBS, Setwright, and Keeley Crane. His work responsibilities have varied from set supervision to purchasing to post-construction service. We are lucky to add Richard’s unique perspectives on our industry to the MHBA Board and welcome him to our group.
Maine Manufactured Housing Board (MMHB) Code Update: the Board voted to accept the nomination of Andy Grant to represent the MHBA in the MMHB’s code update process. Andy’s expertise in code-related issues, which comes from his position as the Director of Engineering at Keiser Homes, makes him an invaluable resource for our industry.
In order to keep members informed regarding the discussions surrounding the updating of the modular code, all members will be provided with the Minutes of each meeting. In addition, members can forward questions, concerns and input directly to Andy via his email address: andyg@keisermaine.com. Andy will respond to questions as his work schedule allows.
