Membership Recruitment -- We need your help!

The MHBA is collaborating with the HBRA of Maine in a state-wide recruitment drive. Our goal is to expand the networking opportunities for builders and associates, and to increase the funding for advocacy and industry promotion. If every member contributes just two hours or a small prize or incentive, the event will be a true success!

How can you help?

Second Annual HBRA of Maine Membership Recruitment Drive...................

"Building Our Future - One Member At A Time"..................

We are inviting all Association members across the State to get involved with the "Building Our Future - One Member At A Time - Membership Recruitment Drive" on November 9 and 10th.  It's time to bring more new members into our Association, to expand the networking opportunities for builders and associates, and to increase funding for advocacy and industry promotion.  If every member contributes just two hours or a small prize or incentive, the event will be a true success.

Following is what we need to make the campaign a success:

#1.  Membership incentives for every new member during the two day event .  These items are what makes joining the Association irresistible and why it's a two-day drive.  Examples of items used in last year's drive include:  Free Energy Audit, Free Advertisement Space in The Portland Press Herald, $50 Gift Certificate to L.L. Bean, $50 Gift Certificate to Applebee's Restaurant, One-Hour Free General Legal Advice, 100 Gallons of Propane, etc., and a Free Window with your first purchase. It's a great way to get your company name into the hands and minds of new members and potential new clients.  Call or email today with your incentive contribution.

#2. Volunteers to serve on a team for just two hours on either the 9th or 10th of November.  We will have teams and locations in place representing the HBRA, Modular HBA, Southern Maine HBA and Southern York County HBA. Let us know you are interested and we will place you on a team in your area, or put together your own team of recruiters.  As a volunteer, all you will need to do is call the people you do business with or, if you wish, we will provide you with a list of prospective members to call.

#3. Donations of prize items to provide to teams and individuals. These items will be used to recognize special contributions to the campaign.  For example, the team recruiting the most new members or the most inspirational individual.  These items could be gift certificates to stores and restaurants, hand tools, or your company logo items, etc. Please let me know if you would like to contribute a prize donation.

#4.  Volunteers to attend the Kick-Off Party . All team members and donors will be invited to the Kick-Off event a week before the Recruitment Drive, with delicious hot Hors D'oeuvres, lots of free prizes and giveaways for the volunteers.  Stay tuned for more details on the event.
